MATTOON, Ill. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers continued their postseason run Tuesday night in the NJCAA Division I Region 24 Semifinals at Lake Land College in Mattoon, Ill. The Lady Blazers faced off against No. 3 seed Southwestern Illinois College and fell to the Lady Blue Storm 83-57. The Lady Blazers opened the game strong, taking a quick 4-2 lead over the Lady Blue Storm before SWIC answered back with six straight points to take an 8-4 early lead.
VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers opened postseason play Sunday afternoon in the Quarterfinals of the 2025 NJCAA Division I Region 24 tournament. The Lady Blazers earned the No. 2 seed overall and played host to No. 7 seed Lincoln Trail College inside the Physical Education Complex to begin the tournament. VU overcame a slow start and were able to pull away with an 83-59 victory over the Lady Statesmen, with six Lady Trailblazers scoring in double figures Sunday afternoon.
VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers will open their 2025 postseason play this Sunday, March 9 inside the Physical Education Complex. The Lady Blazers closed out the regular season with a record of 16-14 and a 10-4 record in Region 24 games, earning them the No. 2 seed in next week’s NJCAA Division I Region 24 Tournament. VU will open the Region tournament Sunday, March 9 against Lincoln Trail College inside the P.E. Complex in the Quarterfinals of the Region 24 tournament. with tip off scheduled for 3 p.m. eastern.
VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers closed out their 2024-25 regular season Saturday night with another Region 24 showdown with No. 5 ranked Wabash Valley College from Mt. Carmel, Ill. The Lady Blazers battled all night against the highly rated Lady Warriors but were unable to overcome an early deficit as VU fell by the final score 87-67. Vincennes had to play from behind early as Wabash Valley came out of the gates firing by scoring the first seven points and quickly building a 15-5 lead.
