MATTOON, Ill. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers continued their postseason run Tuesday night in the NJCAA Division I Region 24 Semifinals at Lake Land College in Mattoon, Ill. The Lady Blazers faced off against No. 3 seed Southwestern Illinois College and fell to the Lady Blue Storm 83-57. The Lady Blazers opened the game strong, taking a quick 4-2 lead over the Lady Blue Storm before SWIC answered back with six straight points to take an 8-4 early lead.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers opened postseason play Sunday afternoon in the Quarterfinals of the 2025 NJCAA Division I Region 24 tournament. The Lady Blazers earned the No. 2 seed overall and played host to No. 7 seed Lincoln Trail College inside the Physical Education Complex to begin the tournament. VU overcame a slow start and were able to pull away with an 83-59 victory over the Lady Statesmen, with six Lady Trailblazers scoring in double figures Sunday afternoon.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers will open their 2025 postseason play this Sunday, March 9 inside the Physical Education Complex. The Lady Blazers closed out the regular season with a record of 16-14 and a 10-4 record in Region 24 games, earning them the No. 2 seed in next week’s NJCAA Division I Region 24 Tournament. VU will open the Region tournament Sunday, March 9 against Lincoln Trail College inside the P.E. Complex in the Quarterfinals of the Region 24 tournament. with tip off scheduled for 3 p.m. eastern.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers closed out their 2024-25 regular season Saturday night with another Region 24 showdown with No. 5 ranked Wabash Valley College from Mt. Carmel, Ill. The Lady Blazers battled all night against the highly rated Lady Warriors but were unable to overcome an early deficit as VU fell by the final score 87-67. Vincennes had to play from behind early as Wabash Valley came out of the gates firing by scoring the first seven points and quickly building a 15-5 lead.

OLNEY, Ill. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers were on the road for the final time during the 2024-25 regular season Wednesday night heading to nearby Olney, Ill. to face off against the Lady Blue Knights of Olney Central College. The Lady Blazers faced a tough road battle against the Lady Blue Knights but were able to use a big second half to pick up the 69-63 victory. VU opened the game off to a hot start, using an early 11-3 scoring run to pull ahead 11-6 midway through the first quarter.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers hit the floor Thursday night for another NJCAA Division I Region 24 contest, this time playing host to the Lady Warriors from Rend Lake College from Ina, Ill. The Lady Blazers got going early and rode a big first half to a wire-to-wire 100-55 victory over the Lady Warriors. Vincennes jumped out to a fast start Thursday night, opening an early 13-5 advantage over Rend Lake with an 11-3 scoring run.

ULLIN, Ill. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers were back in action Saturday afternoon as the Blazers hit the road to take on Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Ill. The Lady Blazers jumped out to an early lead over the Lady Saints and were able to pull away for the big 86-51 victory over Shawnee. Vincennes opened the game with a strong defensive first quarter, scoring the first seven points of the game as part of a larger 11-1 scoring run to open the game.

The Lady Blazers battled tough against the highly ranked Warriors but were undone by a big 12-0 scoring run in the second quarter as Vincennes fell to Wabash Valley 78-65. The game got off to a very unusual start as the Lady Warriors were assessed an administrative technical foul before the game, which VU capitalized on to take a 1-0 lead before the tip off.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers returned to the home floor Saturday afternoon for a Region 24 showdown with Southwestern Illinois College from Belleville, Ill. The Lady Blazers found themselves trailing 50-42 after three quarters but were able to get the momentum back and come away with a big 65-62 victory over the Lady Blue Storm. Vincennes went toe to toe with the Lady Blue Storm right from the tip with the two teams battling in a back and forth first quarter of play with Southwestern Illinois coming out of the first 10 minutes of action with a narrow 16-15 lead.

The Lady Blazers overcame a slow start and pulled away late to finish off the 78-57 victory over the Lady Statesmen. Vincennes got off to a bit of a slow start Wednesday night back in front of the home crowd, quickly falling behind 8-2 to the Lady Statesmen.

The Lady Blazers played from behind for most of the game and looked to be building momentum with a late comeback in the fourth quarter, but just ran out of time as VU fell to the Lady Vols 76-73. The Lady Blazers got off to a great start Saturday afternoon, riding an early 7-0 scoring run to take an 11-8 lead over the Lady Vols.

HILLSBORO, Mo. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers took a break from their regular Region 24 play to hit the road Monday night for a face-off against NJCAA Division II No. 21 ranked Jefferson College in Missouri. The Lady Blazers grabbed the early but the Lady Vikings pressure defense caused problems for VU late as Jefferson College hit a layup at the buzzer to come away with the 64-62 victory over Vincennes. The Lady Blazers got off to an excellent start Monday night, using a big 13-0 first quarter run to grab an early 15-8 lead over the Lady Vikings at the end of the first quarter.

CARMEL, Ill. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers hit the road Saturday evening for a Region 24 road showdown with nearby rival No. 7-ranked Wabash Valley College The Lady Blazers fought hard but came up on the wrong end of a 89-58 final score to the Lady Warriors. This game was very close in the beginning, after the two teams traded five point runs, each team traded baskets for the rest of the opening quarter with the Lady Warriors holding a narrow lead at 19-15 after the first 10 minutes of action.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers returned to the home court Wednesday for a Region 24 showdown with Olney Central College from nearby Olney, Ill. The offenses for both teams struggled all night but it was the Vincennes defense that was able to come out on top in the end, coming away with a 52-43 victory over the Lady Blue Knights. The game was a defensive struggle from the very beginning with both teams having a hard time finding the bottom of the net early before the Lady Blazers were able to get some shots to fall and ride a 12-2 scoring run to take a 15-6 and end the first quarter of play holding a 15-9 advantage.
