VINCENNES, Ind. – 2024 NJCAA All-American Isadora Dias (Rio Grande de Norte, Brazil) signed her letter of intent earlier this week to join NAIA Park University in Parkville, Mo. next season. “I was looking for a program that would challenge me both athletically and academically while also feeling like a place where I could continue to grow,” Dias said. “Park University really stood out to me because of its competitive volleyball program and its overall environment felt like the perfect fit for me. The opportunity to play at a high level while also receiving a strong education was exactly what I wanted and after talking with the coaches, some players and learning more about the team’s culture, I knew it was the best decision for my future.” “Isadora is just ‘all in’,” VUVB Head Coach Gary Sien said. “She will do everything and anything to help the team win. I see her beyond her skills as a player as someone who was one of our leaders both by her play and by what she says. Isadora s a great teammate and was consistently striving to not only better her own game but to help others. A standout player does that, they not only do well themselves but can help take others with them to succeed. Isadora was one who left her mark on this program. She is a very selfless person.”
VINCENNES, Ind. – The four-time defending NJCAA Division I Region 24 Champion Vincennes University volleyball team made another big addition this week to their 2025 recruiting class in six-foot middle blocker Paulina Krawczyk. Paulina joins the Trailblazers from Strachanow, Poland and attended high school at I LO im. Tadeusza Kościuszki w Turku. Paulina plays for the Polish club team UKS Piątka Turek under Head Coach Andrzej Malczewski.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The four-time defending Region 24 Champion Vincennes University Volleyball team continues to add size with their latest signing of six-foot two middle blocker Taryn Thuis. “Well, we have another student who first communicated with us of their interest well over a year ago,” VUVB Head Coach Gary Sien said. “Taryn’s got State Championship experience, having played in the State Finals her sophomore year and is coming from a program that has had great success here lately. If you define local as being within an hour from Vincennes, Linton is probably in the top two or three local programs that have had major success since I’ve been here. We’re always looking to get kids from that program just because of the level of success they have had on the court.” Thuis comes to Vincennes University after an outstanding high school career at Linton-Stockton High School in nearby Linton, Ind. and also played for the Tier 10 volleyball club team.
VINCENNES, Ind. – The four-time defending Region 24 Champion Vincennes University Volleyball team picked up the first signing of their 2025 recruiting class earlier this week with the signing of outside hitter Kenli Sullivan. “Kenli reached out to us early in May,” VUVB Head Coach Gary Sien said. “We were interested right away knowing that we are going to have to replace quite a bit of offense from this past season. We’re also, along with everyone else in the country, always looking for six-rotation players that can do just as well in the back row as they do in the front row. So, it was a pretty quick response from us after watching her video footage, that’s for sure.” “One thing that I think was important to Kenli is that she wanted to stay close to home,” Sien added. “She attends Bloomington North but she actually lives closer to Bloomfield so she’s more of a local athlete.”
VINCENNES, Ind. – Vincennes University sophomore and 2024 Region 24 Player of the Year Isadora Dias (Rio Grande de Norte, Brazil) added more accolades to her outstanding sophomore season this week with Dias being recognized as an NJCAA Division I Third Team All-American. “Being recognized as a Third Team All-American is such an honor and it makes me incredibly emotional because there are so many great players in the country,” Dias said. “This recognition motivates me to continue pushing myself to be the best I can be.” “I owe so much to Coach Gary and Coach Ariana for their guidance and belief in me and to my family who have been my foundation and biggest cheerleaders,” Dias added. “I also want to honor my roots and the incredible coaches back in Rio Grande de Norte, Brazil who laid the groundwork for the player I am today. Joka Fontes, my very first coach, introduced me to the beauty of this sport, while Pequena, Ricardo, Andre and Matheus always believed in my potential, constantly challenging and inspiring me to keep growing.”
