VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers opened up the 2024 Vincennes Lady Blazer Classic Friday evening inside the Physical Education Complex with a back-and-forth battle with NJCAA Division III No. 6-ranked Owens Community College. The Lady Blazers came into the game again short-handed, with only seven active players and were able to come away with the 82-73 victory over the Express behind a 21-point 14-rebound double-double by freshman Delora Pricop (Brasov, Romania). VU got off to a good start in the opening quarter, beginning the game with an early 6-2 lead before Owens answered back to take a 16-12 lead.

PARK HILLS, Mo. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers hit the road Monday afternoon for a special Veterans Day matinee against the Lady Cardinals of Mineral Area College. The Lady Blazers got off to a slow start, scoring only eight points in the opening quarter and ultimately came out on the wrong end of an 80-57 final score to host Mineral Area College. Vincennes got off to a slow start to begin the game, with the Lady Cardinals opening a 13-3 early advantage, before extending their lead to 23-8 after the first 10 minutes of action.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers got their first chance to play in front of the home fans this season Saturday night hosting Kennedy King College from Chicago on homecoming weekend. The Lady Blazers got their first win of the season with a big 111-40 victory over the Lady Statesmen, also notching career win number one for VU Interim Head Coach Ingrida Hartsfield. VU got the game off to a great start, opening the game on a 20-3 scoring run before continuing to roll through the first quarter ending the period with five straight points to lead 29-8 after the first 10 minutes of action.

MOBERLY, Mo. – The short-handed Vincennes University Lady Trailblazers hit the floor again Saturday evening to close out their weekend at the 2024 Orscheln Classic. The Lady Blazers faced off against host Moberly Area Community College in the final game of the weekend classic and came up just short as the Lady Greyhounds picked up the 73-61 victory. Vincennes entered the game Saturday evening again playing with only seven active players but that didn’t stop VU from bursting out of the gates and building an early 17-12 first quarter lead.
