CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Vincennes University baseball team closed out their four-game weekend Mid-West Athletic Conference series Saturday afternoon against No. 14-ranked Parkland College. The Trailblazers dropped the pair of games to close out the series, falling in game one to the Cobras 11-1 before falling in game two 12-2. Vincennes got the day started in game one, breaking onto the scoreboard in the second inning after sophomore Yancey Edlin (Pekin, Ind.) reached on an error to lead off the inning.

QUINCY, Ill. – The Vincennes University baseball team returned to the diamond Monday afternoon for the final two games of their four-game Mid-West Athletic Conference (MWAC) opener against John Wood Community College in Quincy, Ill. The Trailblazers battled but came up on the wrong end of a 6-4 final score in game one before dropping game two on the day 15-3. The day did not get off to the best of starts for the Trailblazers, with John Wood breaking the game open early with five runs in the first inning.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University baseball team is picking up steam as they roll through the early part of their 2025 season, opening a big weekend invitational at Jerry Blemker Field Friday night. The Blazers faced some tough competition Friday in front of the home fans and were able to extend their winning streak to five games after defeating North Iowa Area Community College 11-8 and picking up a big win over No. 15 Kellogg Community College 1-0. Vincennes opened the weekend slate against North Iowa Area Community College and wasted little time getting the offense going in game one of the day.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Baseball team returned to Jerry Blemker Field Tuesday morning looking to bounce back from their home opener Monday afternoon with doubleheader action against Morton College and a rematch against NJCAA Division III No. 15 Joliet Junior College. The Blazers were able to open up fast starts in both games and ride the early momentum to a 5-2 victory over Morton College and an 8-4 victory over Joliet to complete the doubleheader sweep. Vincennes opened the day Tuesday morning with a showdown against Morton College.
