CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Vincennes University baseball team closed out their four-game weekend Mid-West Athletic Conference series Saturday afternoon against No. 14-ranked Parkland College. The Trailblazers dropped the pair of games to close out the series, falling in game one to the Cobras 11-1 before falling in game two 12-2. Vincennes got the day started in game one, breaking onto the scoreboard in the second inning after sophomore Yancey Edlin (Pekin, Ind.) reached on an error to lead off the inning.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University baseball team closed out their Mid-West Athletic Conference weekend series Saturday morning against Lewis & Clark Community College in the annual ‘Battle of the Trailblazers’. The day did not get off to a great start for VU with Lewis & Clark taking game one 10-4 before Vincennes closed out the weekend strong with a big 11-1 victory in game two. Lewis & Clark opened the morning in game one of the day plating one run in the first to take an early 1-0 lead over VU.

CARTERVILLE, Ill. – The Vincennes University baseball team faced another tough road test Tuesday afternoon as the Blazers hit the road to face off against NJCAA Division I No. 16-ranked John A. Logan College in Carterville, Ill. The Trailblazers were able to do some good things on the diamond but were unable to overcome a big early inning by the Volunteers as the Trailblazers fell by the final score of 10-3. John A. Logan broke the game open early Tuesday afternoon, striking first in a big way in the second inning, scoring seven runs to take an early 7-0 lead over the Trailblazers.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Baseball team returned to Jerry Blemker Field Monday evening for a weekday showdown with Wabash Valley College from Mt. Carmel, Ill. The Trailblazers used this opportunity to get multiple players useful game experience as the Trailblazers get set to head into Mid-West Athletic Conference play this weekend. VU fell behind early, was able to build some momentum through the middle innings but unfortunately came out on the wrong end of a 25-7 final score to the Warriors.

CLEVELAND, Tenn. – The Vincennes University baseball team opened their 2025 Spring season Friday afternoon with a single nine-inning game at Cleveland State Community College in Tennessee. The Trailblazers got off to a rocky start but were able to battle back and take the lead late unfortunately this lead would not hold as VU fell in their season opener to the Cougars 7-6. The season did not get off to the best of starts for the Trailblazers, after a scoreless top of the first, the host Cougars opened the scoring in the bottom of the first inning with four runs to take an early 4-0 lead.
