VU Coach Gary Sien says:
"We are impressed with Jamie in not only her athletic abilities, but also with her personality and character. She comes to the Blazers as someone who has progressively gotten better as a player as she was promoted this year to her club's No. 1 team. The team played in the open division and one of her teammates will be playing in the Big Ten! We look for her to do well in whichever front position we determine as we like her explosiveness."
East Saint Louis Charter High School Coach Melanie Davis says:
"Jamie is a dynamic and versatile athlete, ready to make her mark in the volleyball world. She can transition between outside and middle. Jamie has the ability to frustrate her opponents with her blocking ability. She brings a lot of energy to the game. I am so happy that Jamie Russell has found a home in Vincennes University."
Combs (Bloomfield, Ill.) will join the Trailblazers as a 6-foot MB/OPP with an impressive high school record (26-6) showing a clear winning mentality.

VU Coach Gary Sien says:
"We saw Elizabeth in two matches last fall and we like what we saw. She is the third incoming all-state middle blocker for us. Elizabeth is very long and athletic and she along with all our front players will be charged to control the net with her blocking and hitting abilities. Elizabeth had an exceptional senior year which prompted her to continue her volleyball career but I believe her best games are still ahead of her."
Bloomfield High School Coach Deanna Potts says:
"It has been a pleasure to coach and work with Elizabeth during the last two seasons. She has grown into a leader and strengthened her game in the last few seasons. Her leadership helped her team to advance to the Semi-State game her senior season. I am so proud of how Elizabeth represented the Bloomfield Cardinals and know she will do the same for Vincennes University."
Beedle (Wheaton, Ill.) comes to VU as a 5-foot-10 outside hitter and opposite hitter with a technical skill set and hardworking mentality. Amee also played with and against teammates in club volleyball who are now playing in the BIG 10.

VU Coach Gary Sien says:
"Amee played most of her club career with the renowned Sports Performance volleyball club out of Chicago, Ill. They are famous for their technical training in the fundamental skills and she comes to us with those advanced skills. We graduated two All-Region outside hitters who played all the way around. Amee will have a great opportunity to fill into one of the open positions as we would like a six-rotation player who can not only hit, but who possesses exceptional first contact skills."
Wheaton North High School Coach Carole Kristensen says:
"Amee has been an energetic player that would fill any position that was needed for the Falcons. She was an intricate part of the Falcon's success in conference wins and regional championships. Amee's love of volleyball grew immensely (gym rat) which made her more a student of the game. Amee will be an excellent attribute to any program and will continue to grow in her college career."
