VINCENNES, Ind. – The Vincennes University Trailblazer men’s basketball program has had some recent success searching for talent north of the border and will look to continue this trend during the 2021-22 season after signing 6-foot-1 point guard Marcus Clarke-Moore earlier this week. Marcus played last season for Aim High Prep in South Carolina, a team that the Trailblazers scrimmaged just before the 2020-21 season, although Marcus did not play in that game. Marcus would however lead Aim High this past season by averaging 21.7 points, 5.2 assists and three rebounds per game.

Robinson, Ill. – Vincennes University fell four spots in the NJCAA Division I rankings this week to No. 8 and for the second week in a row the Trailblazers were upset on the road on Monday after falling to Lincoln Trail 82-79. VU started the game hitting from distance, as threes from Randy Tucker, Brandon Muntu and Brevin Jefferson helped the Blazers build a 15-5 early lead.

VINCENNES, Ind. – The No. 6-ranked Vincennes University Trailblazers hosted Region 4-favorite Triton College Wednesday night, in the second of three straight games against a tough northern Illinois region and came away with the 80-67 victory. The early stages of the game lived up to the hype of a battle of two heavyweight junior college teams who will likely both earn a trip to the National tournament in April, as the two squads battled back and forth with the lead changing hands six times.
